Scope and contact
Di Monti manages customer accounts and appointment requests on dimonti.ar and dimonti.ec. This policy explains data handling for these features and the Di Monti Calendar integration. For privacy questions or requests, email dimonti.jewelry@gmail.com and specify the country of your appointment. Purchase and return conditions are provided separately.
Data we use
To identify your account and manage appointments, we use your user identifier, name, email, phone number, jewelry interest, country, appointment date, time and status. If you arrive through an adviser link, we retain that reference. Notes from earlier bookings may remain in the history. We also retain change timestamps, confirmation responses and technical delivery and synchronization records.
Why we use it
We use this data to handle your request, manage availability, identify the associated adviser and allow changes or cancellations. We send appointment communications, such as confirmations, cancellations and reminders. Technical records help identify failures and prevent duplicate deliveries.
How Google Calendar works
The Google account authorizing Di Monti Calendar belongs to the business. You do not need to grant access to your personal calendar to book. The integration requests permission to view, create, update and delete events on calendars owned by the authorized account; this permission may cover events beyond Di Monti appointments. Our application uses it to manage Di Monti appointments on the Argentina and Ecuador calendars and read the business’s responses.
Shared data and providers
Events may include your name, email, phone, interest, adviser name, time, location, status and historical notes. Google receives this data when the event is synchronized. Business responses and technical event identifiers are used to update the booking. The website infrastructure uses Vercel, Supabase and email provider Resend for hosting, authentication, storage and communications, as applicable. These services may process data outside the appointment’s country. Authorized business staff may view appointments to provide the service.
Use of Google data
Data obtained through Google APIs is used to provide and maintain the appointment features described here. It is not sold or used for personalized advertising or training general-purpose artificial intelligence models. Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Storage and access
Bookings and their history are stored in the application database. Events also remain in Google Calendar until deleted. The credential used to refresh Calendar access is encrypted on the server and is not provided to customers’ browsers. Administrative access is controlled through authentication and roles. No security measure eliminates every risk.
Retention and deletion
Cancelling an appointment does not automatically erase its database history. The application requests deletion of the Calendar event when processing cancellation and retries failed deliveries. Displaying only the two latest appointments does not delete older records either. You may request deletion by email. We review the request’s scope and any retention needed for applicable obligations or unresolved issues. Backups and provider logs may follow different retention cycles.
Your choices
You can view, modify or cancel an appointment through the available account features. To request access, correction or deletion, or raise an objection or another applicable privacy request, email our contact address. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity; do not send your password. The business account may revoke Google permission through its account connections; this stops synchronization but does not itself delete existing bookings or events.
Cookies and changes
The site uses session mechanisms and other technologies to provide its features. Information about analytics and cookies is available on our cookie page. We update this policy when the described processing changes and show the updated date. Where applicable, we communicate changes and request the necessary authorization before using Google data for a different purpose.
